Weihua Jin (金伟华), Ph.D., P.E. (President)
Weihua spent eight years at Tongji (80 to 88, BS/MS in Building Materials). He came to the US in 1994 and obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University in 1998. He has worked as a bridge engineer ever since with PARSONS. He specializes in the design and development of ecological and sustainable building materials and his innovative work has been covered by such renowned media as CNN and ENR. Weihua initiated the work of TJUAAA in New York and currently serves as the president of Chinese American Association of Engineering (CAAE).
 
Qian (Eric) Wang (Vice President)
Having spent over 12 years at Tongji, Eric is a pure Tongjier: 8 years of B.S. and M.S. study in Structural Engineering from 1986 to 1994 and 4 years of working experience at Tongji after graduation (including 2 years in Hong Kong) from 1994 to 1998. Eric came to the US in 1998 and graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a M.S. degree in Construction Management in 2000. Eric is a founding member of TJUAAA in SF Bay area.
 
Yanbin Jian (Jeff) Wu (Former President of TJUAAA)
Jian (Jeff) Wu is a die-hard 7-year Tongji veteran (from 1986-1993). In the early years since 1997, Jeff has vested his time and energy in building a global community for all Tongjiers in US for multiple years. An IT industry veteran with tens of years of experience at EDS, Ariba, Novel/Cambridge Technology Partners and Chordiant, Jeff is now Executive Vice President at Worksoft, a Global Service 100 Company, one of the largest IT service companies headquartered in Beijing with 3000 employees worldwide, responsible for increasing Worksoft's presence globally, especially in geographies in China, US and Europe. Jian Wu holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. This was preceded by a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Tongji University.
Yanbin (Rob) He (何雁冰) (Vice President)
Rob graduated from Tongji in early 80’s with a BS and a MS in Urban and Transportation planning. He studied as a Ph. D candidate of Public Policy Analysis in University of Illinois at Chicago in 1992, and since then, has been successfully affiliated with academic institutions, consulting firms, and public agencies. His technical expertise includes transportation and land use planning, travel demand forecast modeling, air quality and conformity analysis, transportation data management and geographic information systems (GIS), traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and public policy analysis through teaching, researching, and professional practice. In addition, he is extensively experienced in project management, client service, and business development. His major achievements include publications, conference presentations, and awarded grants. He is now a Senior Transportation Planner with Michael Baker Jr. Inc.'s transportation planning group in Baltimore, Maryland. He also serves as the president of TJUAAA in Washington DC, while providing services to various groups in the area.

Shengwen is a founding member and former president of TJUAAA in Houston.
 
Jianwei (Jim) Zhao (赵建卫), P.E. (Secretary General)
Jim graduated from Department of Structural Engineering in 1984. After graduation, he worked at the same department for another 4 years. Then he went to University of Ottawa to get a master’s degree. Jim has been instrumental in constructing TJUAAA, responsible for setting up its legal framework.
 
Jie (Jane) Wang, Ph.D. (Treasurer)
Jane graduated from Tongji in 1989 with a Master's degree in Economics & Management. She worked briefly for Shanghai Volkswagen and Shanghai Baoshan Iron & Steel Consortium before making her way to the US in 1990.She holds a PhD in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is now working as an Associate Director of Database Marketing at Time Inc.

Tong graduated from Tongji in 1992 with a BS in Structural Engineering and holds a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. He currently works for Credit Suisse First Boston as web specialist. Tong has contributed phenomenal time and efforts, notably in developing and maintaining TJUAAA's website.
 
Canming (Ted) Chen (陈灿明), C.P.A. (Assistantship)
Ted graduated from Tongji in 1986 with a MS and a BS in Economics and Management and holds a MBA from Baruch College. He is now an Assistant VP at Deusche Bank, working as a Financial Analysis. Ted has taken a leading role in obtaining the Not-For-Profit status for TJUAAA and contributed both time and money in entity registration.

Chuanqi graduated from Electrical Engineering Dept. in 1987. In 1989 He received his MS degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland. Since then he had been working for several multinational enterprises such as General Electric, AEG, Siemens, MCI, WorldCom. Since early 2001 he switched his career path and moved into the financial service industry. Currently he is a stocks and futures broker at Chesapeake Investment Services. Chuanqi also serves as vice president of TJUAAA in DC area.

Yingjie Gong (Toronto Area)
Yingjie graduated from Tongji in 1984 with a BS in Urban Planning. He earned his MS in Rural Planning and Development from University of Guelph, Ontario in early 90's. Since 1991, he had been a planner in the Planning Department of the City of Toronto for three years. He became a Human Resource Consultant with the City of Toronto and had worked there for another seven years. Since 2001 he has been a HR Consultant with a large software company. He specializes in designing and developing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Dinping, known as “Aping”, graduated from Architecture in 2000 and is currently an architect in Shanghai. Aping founded Tongji.net, the most popular site among Tongji students and he has been a strategic partner with TJUAAA.
